I’m wondering how age works in the books. For example, Daemon was 9 and 40 at his death, the high septon was 3 and 50 at his death, does that mean 49, and 53? Or is it different? Spoiler Warning: All officially-released show and book content allowed, including trailers and pre-released chapters. Honestly, at this point I would wait. The series is nearly over. But yes, the books are definitely worth reading. Some of the best fiction ever written, aside from my country's annual budget. There is a lot of deviation, and a lot of extra content, but the show adapted things well until Season 4.
